Marc Erpelding and Quentin Gaget take on new roles at Banque de Luxembourg Investments

Marc Erpelding has taken over responsibility for the fund management teams at BLI - Banque de Luxembourg Investments as Head of Asset Management, succeeding Guy Wagner in this role. In addition, Quentin Gaget has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Guy Wagner will continue in his role as BLI’s Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and will still manage the BL Global Flexible EUR fund, in addition to other mandates. The Luxembourg-based asset manager has also announced the arrival of Quentin Gaget as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Marc Erpelding, 49, joined Banque de Luxembourg in 2002. A Luxembourg national, he is a civil engineer and graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (Dipl.-Ing. ETH) and holds a Master of Science (MSc) in International Management from King's College London. He is also a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA). After several years as a fund analyst, he joined the equities team in 2007, where he played a key role in developing the management of emerging market equity funds. He will continue to contribute to the management of these funds, now alongside Raphaël Fürst, an analyst specialising in Asian markets since 2021 at BLI, who will become co-manager.

Quentin Gaget, 38, joined Banque de Luxembourg in 2017. He holds a degree in Economics and Finance (Université Lumière Lyon 2) and a Master's degree in International Relations (SciencesPo Grenoble). Before joining the bank, he held several positions in the financial industry in Luxembourg and the United Kingdom, mainly in areas related to financial markets, balance sheet management and regulatory reporting. After several years as a Senior Trader, he took over responsibility for the Equity Desk in 2021 before becoming Head of Multi Asset Trading at Banque de Luxembourg in 2023.
