    Head of Private Debt, Pictet Asset Management

    Andreas Klein is the Head of the Private Debt platform at Pictet Asset Management, which he joined in 2022. He brings over 20 years of credit experience with him. He was previously a Managing Director at ICG where he spent the best part of a decade helping set-up and build-out the direct lending strategy. Klein is an MBA graduate of the McCombs business school at the University of Texas in Austin in the US and holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Warwick in the UK. He is also a holder of the CFA ESG certificate.

    Fabian Körzendörfer

    Partner, Private Debt Research Team, StepStone Group

    Fabian Körzendörfer is a Partner in the private debt research team of StepStone Group. He focuses on direct lending strategies in the US and Europe with an emphasis on secondaries and co-Investments. In his function, Körzendörfer also manages private debt portfolios including both drawdown and evergreen funds.

    Markus Schaen joined BrandNewDay in 2025, where he works for the investment office and will be responsible for setting up and managing the return portfolio. Prior to this, he worked 18 years at MN as Principal Fixed Income. At MN, he was responsible for various products in the liquid and illiquid fixed income portfolio, he co designed investment strategies and executed several manager searches, i.e. for infrastructure debt, private debt, Dutch mortgages, EU & US investment grade and High Yield. Previously, he held positions at Maastricht University, Deloitte, Metro AG, Draka Holding, and Koninklijke Wegener NV. Schaen obtained his Master’s degree in Business Economics from Maastricht University, where he also completed the Postgraduate Accountancy programme. In addition, he pursued a Postgraduate degree in Treasury Management at VU Amsterdam and completed the Executive Pensions Programme at Nyenrode Business University.
